Synopsis

Moodle quizzes are an excellent educational tool, and are often one of the first things that an instructor has a desire to learn when creating activities in Moodle.  In Part 2 of a two part series, we will take a look at the questions that can be added to a quiz.  We will discuss the types of question available, as well as explain what question banks and categories are and how an instructor can leverage them.

Synopsis

Forums, Chats, and Wikis are activities which encourge discussion and collaboration within a Moodle course.  In this episode, we will take a look at each of these activites, giving examples of how they can be used, and offering suggestions as to when one would be preferred over the others.  We will also cover many of the configuration options available to instructors when they are adding these activies to their course content.

Synopsis

In this episode we will discuss Moodle Groups and Groupings: what they are, how they are created, and examples of how they can be used. We will also take a look at the differences between a group and a grouping and how they work together to form a powerful and flexible way to manage student access to resources and activities in a Moodle course.

Synopsis
